Dr. Delia Robinson Richards
Dr. Delia Robinson Richards is an Associate Professor in Early Childhood Education at the University of the District of Columbia. She has presented at many education conferences in the United States, Caribbean and Central America.
Dr. Delia Robinson Richards is a Fulbright Scholar who has developed and implemented new early childhood programs at the University of the West Indies and Morgan State University. She has developed courses in multicultural education and early childhood in higher education.
Her research is on multiple intelligences in the early childhood curriculum, identifying the perceptions of Black fathers about the responsibility for their children’s education, and barbershops encouraging black boys to read.
Presently, Dr. Richards is working on a manuscript related to teaching children of color.
